This guideline addresses the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for your Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar provides you with a series of three taming rods, each one differs and permits you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and at last an Armored Scorpid.

Once you've completed the taming Element of The hunt chain, you will need to head to Orgrimmar and talk this page to Ormak Grimshot inside the Valley of Honor so that you can unlock your pet managing abilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Last but not least, don't forget to visit the Pet Trainer and get the Pet capabilities that you will have to give to your companion pet.
